Letsatsi la Africa, besides its predator park, is mainly active in breeding animals (we sell in South Africa and export worldwide). Breeding is nowadays one of the few possibilities left to protect wild endangered species from extinction.
We entered recently in partnership with the Cresam (French organization founded by benevolent scientists and doing research for conservation and reproduction of wild African endangered species) to improve our knowledge and experience. Extensive biochemical, genetic and health tests have been conducted begin of 2011, mainly on our cheetahs, and their results will contribute to enhance the genetic diversity of the species.
This would help us to breed stronger and healthier animals and, consequently, to be part of their conservation.
